Following a successful European tour last year, idols MION, Runo Tauchi and Juna Shinno will once again be touring Europe together this year. Is this the start of an annual tradition?

In 2025, the three musicians performed in France, the United Kingdom and Sweden. This year, performances are scheduled to take place in Spain, the United Kingdom and France. In addition to a recurring two-day event at London’s Uzumaki, the idols will also appear at Japan Weekend in Valencia and TGS in Toulouse. This tour will conclude with a performance in Paris. Last year, they released a single together, titled Start☆line (Fly To Europe From Japan).

Singer-songwriter MION is now a well-known name in Europe. She has been living in the United Kingdom for several years and is currently touring Europe actively to promote Japanese culture through her performances at Japan-related events. She also wants to be a bridge for European and Japanese artists to collaborate. The upcoming tour is a very good example of her mission.

Runo Tauchi has a unique concept around (public) baths and bathing in her music, a good example being the song Ice Cream after a Bath is Delicious at Midnight. The soothing atmosphere of bathing and soaking is something she considers important to incorporate into her concept. She sees the pop venues where she performs as bathrooms and performs with shampoo bottles and other related items.

Juna Shinno is an idol, actress and model. In addition to her solo activities, she is the leader of theatre idol group Team Kurerekko! and an official tourism ambassador for Sapporo. She hopes that her performances in Europe will inspire as many people as possible to visit Japan, while she herself will have the opportunity to admire various cities and landscapes during her tour of Europe.
