Krautrock band Minami Deutsch performed in Europe last spring as a special guest during Blood Incantation’s European tour. In November, the four-piece band from Japan will return to Europe for a tour consisting of 21 performances in nine countries. The four-piece band is currently in the United States on tour with American instrumental psychedelic rock band Earthless.

For the shows in the United Kingdom, Norwich-based psychedelic rock band Floral Image will tour with Minami Deutsch, while Berlin-based psychedelic instrumental band Weite will be the opening act for the rest of the European tour.

Started by Kyotaro Miula (guitar, vocals, synthesiser) in 2014, the sound of Minami Deutsch is influenced by their love for Krautrock. Next to Kyotaro Miula, the krautrock band consists of guitarist Riki Hidaka, bassist Keita Ise, and drummer Kosei Terunuma. The band members are self-professed repetition freaks. The band is signed to the label GuruGuruBrain – founded by now former members of psychedelic rock band Kikagaku Moyo – and released their first self-titled release in September 2015, now so many years later we can look back on a few more EPs and two more albums, the most recent being their third studio album, Fortune Goodies released in autumn 2022.

A cropped version of a photo of Shuya Onuki as KAMIKAMIKAMI, but edited in a way that it shows an eerie and mysterious moment. The photo consists of a bright light source, most probably the sun, and the musician who seemed to have taken the photo in a window. The editing is done by Floor Toppets @/fl00r99 on Instagram, and shows blurring and filters, making it an abstract photo.
