Singer-songwriter Yutaro Ogida kicks off his new European tour in the United Kingdom on 14 September with a performance at Hope & Anchor in London. The rock musician will also be performing in the Netherlands for a series of concerts, including a guitar clinic in the countryside near Utrecht, a concert in France, and two concerts in Switzerland.

Born in Tokyo, Yutaro Ogida spent his younger years in New York and lived in London during his high school days, which was also where he first picked up the guitar. In the 1990s, he returned to Japan and started his professional career as a guitarist. Ogida joined several bands and played many sessions with different musicians to showcase his versatility. Eventually the rock musician decided to focus on his solo career and has released two mini-albums and a full-length album. Since then Yutaro Ogida has been to Europe several times for performances.

Besides being active solo, he is also the co-founder of Genshi-Shinbo, a very well-known Pink Floyd tribute project in Japan. He is also active in various bands, and thanks to all these projects, he can be found on stage in Japan almost every day. With one of the side projects, WTARO, Yutaro Ogida released a 10-song rock album titled WTARO I with rock singer and bassist Showtaro Mitsuzono.
