It seems that VMO, or Violent Magic Orchestra, have acquired a taste for touring Europe. The group already toured Europe last spring, but at the end of August, the band will return to the continent for another tour. Titled Rainbow From Angel Corpse Dawn Tour, the tour consists of shows in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Hungary, and Czechia. However, the band may add a few more shows to the schedule here and there.
A few performances are planned at festivals, such as Hit The City Festival in Eindhoven and Baroeg Open Air in Rotterdam. Some of the shows are still unknown at the time of writing. It is a good idea to keep an eye on VMO’s social media for updates.
Nowadays, they are no strangers to the scene, as Violent Magic Orchestra have had several European tours in recent years, performing at festivals such as Roadburn Festival, Brutal Assault, Incubate Festival, and Le Guess Who?, to name a few. The group manages to merge overwhelming electronic black metal, noise, and gabber with an interesting live show featuring strobe lights, disturbing visuals, and live dancers. Another description of Violent Magic Orchestra is ‘black metal meets Kraftwerk’, although ‘black metal rave’ is also a good description. After several releases, their second album DEATH RAVE was released in 2024, eight years after the release of their debut album Catastrophic Anonymous.
