Two musicians, vocalists Takeru (ex-SuG) and Shou (Verde/, Alice Nine.) – by no means unknown names in the visual kei scene – are joining forces to tour Europe next autumn under the banner youthpit.
The European tour, organised by Killing Daze Management and Fake Star, is set for September and will consist of seven shows, with the final show only featuring former SuG vocalist Takeru. Regular ticket sales started on Wednesday 16 April, VIP upgrades will be made available soon.
Both artists were active during the heyday of the visual kei movement and are now bringing together their experience and musical backgrounds. During the performances, they will combine the new energy and experiences with elements of their earlier work. The evening is expected to be filled with nostalgia, especially for those who have followed the bands SuG and Alice Nine. and possibly had the chance to see both bands live in Europe.
Takeru has been busy with various solo projects in recent years, including sleepyhead and Uwakimono, as well as writing music for various artists. Since 2022, he has been active under his own name and has been engaged in all kinds of creative aspects that fit under his music projects, including songwriting, design, film direction and more. Shou started his solo project Verde/ after his band Alice Nine. took a break in 2023, with this project he gets the opportunity to learn even more about producing music and collaborate with different artists. Another project, which he had started several years earlier with Alice Nine. guitarist Tora, DIAWOLF, was revived in late 2023 for a couple of shows and a new single.
