Nagoya-based instrumental post-rock band Oavette will soon be in Europe for several shows, including a performance at Portals Festival 2025 in the United Kingdom. Afterwards, the four-piece will travel to Germany to support mouse on the keys on two European tour dates. Before the European shows, the instrumental band will have a couple of shows in Japan.

They will be performing songs from their Oavette LP, released in September 2023, which features rerecorded and remastered tracks from their self-titled debut EP (2019) and its follow-up Oavette2 (2021). The release of the vinyl commemorated the 10th anniversary of the band. Oavette’s music is rooted in post-minimalism, post-rock, and math-rock, blending digital and primitive folk elements and characterised by layered polyrhythms, percussive guitar interplay, stoic basslines, and complex drum patterns.
