Bad news for BRIDEAR’s European fans: their planned Into the World Forever Tour in March and April is not happening. The power metal band made an announcement that they have been forced to cancel the European tour due to health reasons of BRIDEAR frontwoman KIMI. According to the band’s official announcement, she needs medical treatment, estimated to last until early April. The European tour was scheduled to kick off in Paris on 19 March and end in London on 12 April, with the band being partly joined by US power metal band Lords of the Trident.

KIMI shared in a post on her social media that she is really sorry that the European tour had to be cancelled because of her throat condition. “To be honest, I can’t help but feel extremely disappointed that I have let you all down because I know everyone has been really looking forward to this tour. I truly feel that I have let the band down as well because they have been working so hard to rehearse and get ready for the tour.” She ends her message with: “Can’t wait to see you all when I am feeling 100% perfect. I promise you, it will be worth it!”

A few weeks ago, it was announced that the band will perform at Spanish festival Rock En Femenino in August. For now, this performance will go ahead, but it will remain to be seen how the situation will develop in the coming weeks.

Fans fortunately have something to look forward to: the five-piece will release something new, namely a mini-album of their own covers. Titled Reborn 2013-2016 with a release date of 16 April, it contains tracks previously found on releases such as the mini-album Overturn The Doom and the album BARYTE.
