After the successful official opening of club VERSE on 25 October, the November programme for the new virtual musical venue in VRChat has been announced. Club VERSE is best described as a combination of a livehouse and a club, where you can attend performances but also relax in the bar with a drink or a game. Club VERSE is part of ALLVERSE World, a virtual world that opened two years ago, and the opening of club VERSE coincided with the second anniversary of ALLVERSE WORLD. After you arrive at the world in VRChat, you will immediately see how the world is designed. In fact, the club is in the middle of a city on an island named VERSE CITY.

The opening of club VERSE immediately gave an impression of the special concept the club stands for, a permanent place for virtual musicians and giving them a larger audience. With this ambition to become a regular meeting place for everyone who wants to kick off the weekend right, club VERSE is a good venue for an energetic and inspiring atmosphere.

The performances at club VERSE will take place on Friday nights (Japanese time), for the upcoming month, the club will be open on 1, 8, 15 and 22 November with performances by a total of 13 musical acts. On the fifth Friday in November, the virtual club will be closed. On the days that the club is open, the virtual doors of club VERSE will open at 8.30pm Japanese time and the first performance will start at 9pm. That converts to 12.30 CET and 11.30 GMT.

You can choose between two options to attend the Friday evenings of club VERSE: Join in VRChat or watch the performances live on YouTube. To access club VERSE in VRChat, it is important to become a member of the ALLVERSE VRChat Group, you can do this by logging into VRChat with your browser. Once a member, you will get updates on when the virtual doors of club VERSE open while you are active in VRChat. In case it is not possible to attend the event in VRChat, it is good to know that the weekly performances will also be streamed on the YouTube channel of ALLVERSE.

Find out below who will be performing in the month of November, in the order of their first appearance.

Lily Kanon

Lily Kanon is a bilingual pop singer, half human and half elf. She has been active as a virtual singer for more than five years, with regular streams on her YouTube channel. Through her activities, she hopes to connect Japan and the rest of the world, crossing language and cultural barriers, virtually and in real life. Her discography consists of several singles and two EPs, the most recent release was the full English version of the song l’avenir, originally produced by loy.

Performance: 1, 8, en 15 November 2024
Time: 21:00 JST (1 November), 24:00 JST (8 November), 23.45 JST (15 November)

L∞Y

In 2022, the metaverse EDM vocal unit L∞Y was launched, a duo consisting of rock musician loy and pop singer Lily Kanon. For years, they have been working together through the ALLVERSE project, including with ALLVERSE WEEKENDS, where they introduced virtual musicians in the US and the Netherlands, as well as with VTV, a weekly YouTube stream introducing virtual artists and (new) music. As L∞Y, the two musicians released the single INFINI. It will be the first time in 10 months that L∞Y will take the stage.

Performance: 1 November 2024
Time: 21:45 JST

loy

Virtual rock singer-songwriter loy is the creator and builder of club VERSE, so it is only natural that he will be on stage at club VERSE on a regular basis. Earlier this year, the musician released his first full-length album, titled einst-アインスト-, which can also be seen as a best-of album at the same time and has been working on the l’avenir cover compilation album. 16 virtual artists participated in this compilation, each with their version of the song l’avenir, originally produced by loy. This album was released to celebrate the third anniversary of the release of the original song.

Time: 22:00 JST (8 November), 22:00 JST (15 November)

She recently released her first EP, Star Trip, to further expand her discography, consisting of several albums and singles.

Performance: 8 November 2024
Time: 22:30 JST

譜奏棗 (Natsume Fukana)

Natsume Fukana is an kuro gyaru elf who has been active as a virtual singer since the start of 2021, singing passionate thoughts and emotions in a slightly colourful way. Natsume Fukana’s most recent single was released this spring, titled 朝焼けにカクテル (Cocktails at Sunrise).

Performance: 8 November 2024
Time: 24:30 JST

TOCORO十 (Tokoroten)

Besides being a virtual singer, Tokoroten is a multi-instrumentalist, as she can play the guitar, bass guitar, drums and keyboard. You can best describe Tokoroten as a singing beckoning cat working under the cat deity with the task of inviting people to different places every day.

Performance: 15, 22 November 2024
Time: 21:00 JST (15 November), 21.30 JST (22 November)

メルシュ-Malstrøm-

Malstrøm was also one of the performers at the grand opening of club VERSE, where she was able to instantly captivate the audience with her mix of EDM, rock, and electro. Active since 2021, Malstrøm can be recognised by her long ears and is always together with the mysterious creature Nazoneko, who sits on her shoulder. Malstrøm’s performance on 15 November will last 40 minutes.

Performance: 15 November 2024
Time: 22:30 JST

葉柳ちぐさ (Chigusa Hayanagi)

Chigusa Hayanagi is a virtual singer with a fondness for mint chocolate who travels in search of memories of the past, along with her loyal partner Chokonosuke. She took off as a VTuber in 2019 and soon after, Chigusa Hayanagi started creating original songs, also doing several collaborations.

Performance: 22 November 2024
Time: 22:00 JST

やまみー (Yamamii)

Multi-instrumentalist Yamamii will perform as a guest at club VERSE on 22 November. For this virtual musician, who identifies himself as a mazoku (a supernatural creature rooted in Japanese myths and fantasy tales, could be a demon), every day is Halloween. He recently released a new album titled Re Halloween Birthday.

Performance: 22 November 2024
Time: 22:30 JST

The performance schedule is subject to possible changes. For up-to-date information, keep an eye on the following channels: loy’s X (previously Twitter), ALLVERSE VRChat Group, Discord Fan Server, and the official website of ALLVERSE.
