Hanakappa is a PG anime which follows the story of Hana Kappa and his friends as they grow, persevere and above all have fun. With this candy kit from Meito you get to create cute gummies with Hana Kappa and his fellow stars’ faces on them. The box contains a mould and two powders to make the gummy with.

With this kit you create two different colours, and two different flavours, gummies. The green gummy was definitely sturdier and had a melon flavour to it. There seemed to be a slight sourness to it as well. The purple gummies were softer and had a grape flavour to them. Both were sweet, but not overly so and they definitely fit well together.

Apart from waiting for the gummy to set, this kit doesn’t take more than a few minutes to make.

Very few steps to take when making this candy kit and there isn’t really anything that can go wrong as long as you pay attention when measuring the water.

As you can see on the pictures below, the final product looks very similar to the picture on the packaging. There is a slight difference in colour, but the image on the packaging is clearly a drawing.

Clean the mould with warm water, after using it, and let it air dry.
