By now, singer-songwriter MION can look back on a successful spring and summer full of shows in Europe and it seems that she is far from finished with her tour through Europe. Last month, she was still seen at London Anime & Gaming Con, Main Matsuri in Offenbach am Main, Germany, and Birmingham Anime & Gaming Con. And this month, MION could still be seen at the latest edition of DoKi DoKi festival in Manchester, but otherwise, September seems to be a quiet month for the musician in terms of performances. That will soon change again as MION has announced her plans for October with shows in France, Spain, Hungary, Finland and the United Kingdom.
Last year, the singer-songwriter focused on shows in the UK as she currently lives there and for 2023, her plans were to go further into Europe, which can now be seen as successful, thanks to the many shows she has done. Announcing the October gigs, she revealed that she would be heading to Hungary and Finland for the first time. Keep an eye on MION’s official website for more information.
MION has been active as a singer-songwriter for more than 10 years and has released more than 10 solo singles, including the hit single Summer Magic, which reached No. 1 on the Oricon Singles Charts. Besides her various shows in home country Japan and the UK, where she has been operating from since 2022, the pop-rock musician has also made appearances in South Korea, Canada, and France. MION’s current objectives are to improve as a singer-songwriter and aid in spreading Japanese culture outside of Japan. She also wants to serve as a link between Japanese and European artists.
