Product Review: Popin Cookin – Chocolate Fondue Party

Photographs by MuchMunchies

Kracie – Popin Cookin: Chocolate Fondue Party – Elaborate
Price: ± €9
Extra supplies: Microwave, Water, Scissors and Plate.

Have you ever wanted to have a (mini) chocolate fondue party? Yes? Well here’s your chance! With this candy kit from Kracie you can create all sorts of treats to dip into chocolate and strawberry chocolate sauce. The candy treats you can dip are: strawberries, banana slices, mini marshmallows and cake. There are some sprinkles to dip into as well. Included in the packaging are: five powder sachets, a sachet with mini marshmallows, a sachet with sprinkles, a spoon, a mould with scoop, mixing trays and moulds, four cocktail picks and a wrapper that can be used as a ‘plate’.

Flavour: ♥♥♥
There are quite a few flavours in this candy kit, but they do all work well together.

When it comes to the ‘dippables’, they do all have different flavours and textures to them. The mini marshmallows were soft, fluffy and not too sweet. The banana slices tasted like banana candies, but with a much softer texture to them. The cake was fluffy, but didn’t have a whole lot of flavour to it. The strawberry gummies were soft and sweet and had a clear strawberry flavour to them. The sprinkles didn’t add much flavour, but they did add a bit of a crunchy texture.

Both sauces were creamy, but the chocolate sauce did have a stronger flavour to it. The strawberry sauce did have some strawberry flavour to it, but not a lot.

Overall I liked all of the flavours in this candy kit, some a little more than others, but they all matched well with one another and the sauces.

My only critique would be that I would’ve liked more treats to dip in the chocolate sauces. Either one more kind or just more of the ones there were. The only treat there were plenty of were the mini marshmallows.

Time needed: ⧗⧗
Because of all the different elements to this kit, it does take a little time to assemble all of it.

Difficulty level: ★★
There are quite a few steps, but they aren’t very complicated as long as you follow the instructions.

Similarity: 📷📷📷
As you can see on the pictures below, the final product looks pretty similar to the picture on the packaging. The only differences are that textures of the cake and banana are a little different from the picture and that on the picture there are actual bowls and plates, rather than an image to put everything on.

Want to enjoy this kit again?

Clean the mould with warm water, after using it, and let it air dry.

You could use the mould to make some more strawberry gummies. The other elements you could try to remake or replace with other treats, to create your own mini fondue party.

This is not a sponsored review and because of this we won’t mention where this set was bought, search online using the name of this candy kit and you should be able to find it.

Colourful artistic cover of TsuShiMaMiRe 20th full-length album バンドは水物 (MIZUMONO), featuring the three members at that time, vocalist and guitarist Mari, bass player Yayoi and drummer Maiko. There are masks drawn on their faces and on top of it the band name and album title in a font that seems like splashes of water.

The photo shows the members of Violent Magic Orchestra, outside what appears to be a European city at night. Most probably the photo was taken in Norway. The members are all posing differently and dressed in black, all are wearing the same band shirt.
