Singer-songwriter MION has planned a European tour and shared the first dates for May 2023. In the last year, the singer-songwriter has focused on shows in the United Kingdom as she currently lives there currently. For 2023, MION had plans to go further into Europe and succeeded with the shows scheduled in May.

She will first head to the Netherlands with an appearance at Heroes Made in Asia, then she will travel to Portugal for a show at Iberanime and will be at Hanamicon in Austria a week later. She will conclude this tour for the month of May at MCM Comic Con in the UK. It will be the first time she will be performing in the Netherlands, Portugal and Austria. Besides the performances, it will also be possible to have a meet and greet with the singer-songwriter.

It seems it will not stop there, as she has stated in her social media posts that she will perform in 10 different countries this spring and summer. More shows will be announced soon. Earlier this month, she was featured at Paris Manga Sci-Fi Show and at Manchester Anime & Gaming Con. So keep an eye on MION’s official website for more information.

MION has been active as a singer-songwriter for more than 10 years and has released more than 10 solo singles, including the hit single Summer Magic, which reached No. 1 on the Oricon Singles Charts. Besides her various shows in home country Japan and the UK, where she has been operating from since 2022, the pop-rock musician has also made appearances in South Korea, Canada, and France. MION’s current objectives are to improve as a singer-songwriter and aid in spreading Japanese culture outside of Japan. She also wants to serve as a link between Japanese and European artists.

Colourful artistic cover of TsuShiMaMiRe 20th full-length album バンドは水物 (MIZUMONO), featuring the three members at that time, vocalist and guitarist Mari, bass player Yayoi and drummer Maiko. There are masks drawn on their faces and on top of it the band name and album title in a font that seems like splashes of water.
