The members of RADWIMPS are standing on what seams a sandy hill near a beach. They all wear mostly dark clothing and only the vocalist and guitarist looks in the direction of the camera.

Rock band RADWIMPS will embark on a European tour coming May. The tour is powered by Crunchyroll and consists of five dates in the United Kingdom, Spain, France and Germany. It has been a while since the rock band was in Europe for shows, dating back to 2015, when the band performed in France, Germany and the UK.

Formed in 2001, RADWIMPS quickly attracted a large fan base and made their major label debut in 2005. The band received awards at the Japanese Academy Award for Best Original Score for the creations of music for record-breaking animated films Your Name and Weathering with You. In November 2021, the band released their latest studio album FOREVER DAZE, was written throughout the pandemic and shows the musicians’ musical challenges. Given that the rock band often collaborates with director Makoto Shinkai, it was perhaps no surprise that they also contributed to the brand new film Suzume.

Meanwhile, part of the tour is already sold out, which is not entirely surprising with their popularity. Indeed, the Yokohama-based rock band did the same with their tour of North America.

RADWIMPS European Tour 2023 Dates

Sunday 21 May, 2023: Roundhouse – London, United Kingdom
Wednesday 24 May, 2023: Paral·lel 6 – Barcelona, Spain
Friday 26 May, 2023: Palladium – Cologne, Germany
Sunday 28 May, 2023: Salle Pleyel – Paris, France
Tuesday 30 May, 2023: Columbiahalle – Berlin, Germany

EDIT 29 March: The shows in the United Kingdom and France have changed venues and a new date has been added in Germany on 26 May.

The photo shows a group of five people in black clothing standing inside what seems to be an industrial space. All five musicians appear to be looking off into different directions while maintaining their composure despite being surrounded by such an industrial setting.

Still from OTO MAYUMI's music video for the song "だって (Datte)". The singer-songwriter is standing in front of a wall on which a beamer shines seemingly psychedelic-like patterns. As she stands between the beamer and wall, a shadow of herself is created on the wall. She looks up after dancing. The video is directed by Pierluigi Patella.
