The Kyoto-based singer-songwriter Ichiko Aoba will be returning for another European tour, as part of her Saison Des Fleurs Tour 2023 coming spring. Some European shows were previously confirmed, but with the addition of the new European show dates in the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Italy, and Ireland, it has become a comprehensive European tour for the solo musician.

Ichiko Aoba will play as the opening act for the French singer-songwriter Pomme on the first day of her European tour. She will also appear at a few festivals, including BRDCST Festival in Belgium and Motel Mozaique Festival in the Netherlands. Some of the shows that were announced before are sold out, such as a couple of shows in France.

Ichiko Aoba started to play the classical guitar at the age of 17 and released her first album, two years later, sharing her fantasy world through sound. She has released several albums, with her latest album being アダンの風 (Adan no kaze, Windswept Adan) of which a live version was also released, recorded at Bunkamura Orchard Hall. In 2020, marking her 10th anniversary, she established her independent label hermine. Ichiko Aoba’s most faithful companion is the guitar, but she also plays the piano, clarinet, accordion, and flute on her own. The acoustic sound and songwriting are inspired by her dreams. Recently the musician has been sharing live footage of her performance at London’s Milton Court last year where she performed with The 12 Ensemble.
