It seems that the pop-rock band Vaiwatt are slowly conquering Europe. As recently as 2021, the duo performed in Turkey for a Halloween show. Last year, the duo could still be found in Italy with several shows. This year, they can be found in the United Kingdom for several shows.

It involves a short tour in July with three shows in Birmingham, Whitchurch and London. They will be joined on this tour by the English electro-metal band DEAD HAPPY. On the tour final, more local bands will share the stage with Vaiwatt and Dead Happy, such as The Crippens and anarchistwood.

Ken on vocals and guitar and Tama on bass make up the 2013-founded band Vaiwatt, they say to come from the future. The band sound is focused on combining Japanese pop with western rock, which they, therefore, describe as combining the power of pop-punk music’s positive smile with the power of mainly 90s rock from a future perspective that defeats modern angst.

They are also considered as “The Extremely Unpredictable Digital Chaos Duo” and with all the music genres that they all incorporate into their music, this is actually the best description. The pop-rock band has performed outside Japan before, with shows in the United States, Turkey, Russia and Italy. Their most recent album release, ナナりんご (Seven Apples), was released in 2021 which was filled with music that was recorded during their touring from 2018 and beyond and during the pandemic.
