Heart – Sumikko Gurashi Soft Gummies – Simple
Price: ± €6
Extra supplies: Bowl or Cup & Water.

Sumikkogurashi, the characters who live a quiet life in the corner, are a group of characters by San-X and have been the focus of quite a few of our product reviews. Several of these adorable little creatures are featured in this candy kit, with which you can make soft gummies out of them. The package contains a mould, two powder packages, two spoons and a background. There are several backgrounds available, whichever one you receive is a surprise.

Flavour: ♥♥
These are definitely soft gummies. The texture isn’t entirely smooth, but they do almost fall apart in your mouth on their own.

When it comes to flavour, both colours had a pretty distinct flavour. The orange gummies had an orange flavour to it, with a slight sourness. The pink gummies had a strawberry flavour and some sourness as well, which reminded me of strawberry sour rolls a little.

Both were sweet, but not overly so.

Time needed: ⧗
You’ll spend more time waiting than you will making this candy kit, as the gummies need to set for thirty minutes in the refrigerator.

Difficulty level: ★
An easy candy kit with only a few small steps. Make sure you don’t stir the gummy mixtures for too long, or they’ll start to set too soon.

Similarity: 📷📷📷
As you can see on the pictures below, the final product looks pretty similar to the picture on the packaging. On the pictures the orange gummies seem a bit yellow, but they were definitely orange. The only difference is that it’s harder to make out the images on the actual gummies, but that’s to be expected, since they are one colour.

TIP: Make sure NOT to overmix the gummy mixtures, I definitely did and it made it harder to place it into the mould. The pink gummies were also a lot less sturdy, probably because I mixed that mixture the longest.

Want to enjoy this kit again?

Clean the mould with warm water, after using it, and let it air dry.

Fill the mould with jelly, chocolate, fondant or kneadable candies.

This is not a sponsored review and because of this we won’t mention where this set was bought, search online using the name of this candy kit and you should be able to find it.

A group photo of the band Iscream Never Ground posing in front of a colourful backdrop, created by graffiti. All members are dressed in the same way, same dark shirt with paint splatter motive, but they are wearing a different colour pants and shoes. Those pants and shoes are in the same colour for each member, perhaps used as a member colour. The members stand in a row and strike a pose as if they are making an exaggerated walking motion: one leg is raised and the other is on the ground, one arm is balled into a fist and held close to their face, whilst the other arm, also with a clenched fist, is positioned behind them, with their elbows bent. © アイスクリームネバーグラウンド - Iscream Never Ground
