In a few days, the four-piece melodic metalcore band Sable Hills will tour Europe for the first time, with shows at festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Brutal Assault and Summerblast Festival, in addition to a number of club shows. In total, the upcoming European tour consists of seven shows in four countries. At one of the shows Sable Hills will be the support act for the American metalcore band Darkest Hour, who will also be touring in Europe soon.
In recent months, the metal band already announced a number of European shows, and in the end, they have managed to extend their visit to Europe with a number of extra shows. The show at Wacken Open Air was already on the cards as the metalcore band won the W:O:A Metal Battle in Japan, which secured them a spot on the line-up. This particular performance was actually scheduled to take place in 2021, but was unfortunately cancelled due to the pandemic situation.
Sable Hills’ European tour bears the title of the metal band’s most recent album, DUALITY, which was released last June and this tour can be seen as the continuation of their tour of Japan. The band was formed in Tokyo in September 2015 by brothers vocalist Takuya and guitarist Rict. The band is currently further amplified by bassist UEDA and drummer Keita. Sable Hills are known to present very melodic, yet punchy and energetic songs. The metal band is often referred to as ‘the future of metal’.
The band has supported numerous international bands on their visits to Japan, and in 2017 performed at BLOODAXE FESTIVAL at Kawasaki Club Citta’ and Crystal Lake’s TRUE NORTH FESTIVAL at Shinkiba Studio Coast.
