The festival season is already in full swing, with several events behind us, but also plenty to look forward to. ArcTanGent Festival 2022, an independent festival taking place from 18 to 20 August near Bristol in the UK, has finally announced the line-up of artists with some interesting names for fans of Japanese music: instrumental rock band MONO, instrumental band Paranoid Void, and alternative rock band MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS. Headliners for ArcTanGent Festival 2022 are Opeth, Cult of Luna and Tesseract.

MONO will be touring Europe after their performance at the festival on Friday. Paranoid Void have some shows planned in the United Kingdom before and after their performance at the festival. Their performance will take place on the Elephant in the Bar Room stage on Friday. The performance of MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS at ArcTanGent Festival 2022 on Saturday will be the live debut in the UK for the band.

The Osaka-based instrumental math rock band Paranoid Void will soon release their second full-length album, titled travels in my universe. Their music is characterised by a guitar sound with a soaring feeling and a rhythm phrase that constantly changes in expression. The members of Paranoid Void are MEGURI (guitar), YU-KI (bass), and MIPOW (drums). More information on their upcoming UK tour can be found here.

On 17 August, the band will release album number five, titled Awakening:Sleeping, four years after their last release. For this band it is the first time to perform in the United Kingdom.
