The fact that ultra-dark idol group NECRONOMIDOL would be returning to Europe was no secret for a long time. The idol group’s appearance at HYPER JAPAN was already confirmed, but a number of extra performances were added, along with the introduction of Hisui Kurogane as a new group member. It is the fifth time that the idol group is coming to Europe for a tour.
The European tour is entitled l’appel du vide (literally translated as ‘the call of the void’) and consists of several shows in Germany, the United Kingdom, France and Sweden. The tour will kick off with a show in Cologne on 20 July, where Himari Tsukishiro’s solo project Isiliel will also get a chance to be presented on stage.

The last time NECRONOMIDOL toured in Europe was in the autumn of 2021. NECRONOMIDOL did undergo a couple of major line-up changes in the last few years, but that didn’t stop the ultra-dark idol group to release a new album in February of this year, titled vämjelseriter. Currently, the idol group is active again as a four-member formation, consisting of Himari Tsukishiro, Meica Mochinaga, Malin Kozakura and the newest group member Hisui Kurogane, the second person on the group photo.
L’appel du vide, is a French phrase used to refer to intrusive thoughts or the urge to engage in a self-destructive behavior during everyday life.
