After festivals like Jera On Air and Graspop Metal Meeting have confirmed that they can go on this year, it is of course a matter of waiting to see if certain bands that were previously confirmed for the postponed editions will eventually perform at the upcoming edition. For Crossfaith this is the case, it was already confirmed by the band when alternative music festival Jera On Air announced that the 2021 edition would not take place.

But then it was waiting for more dates, because a band would not travel from Japan to Europe just for a few festival shows, right? And that is correct. In the meantime, the Japanese metalcore band has announced several shows for their European summer tour and put them neatly together in the form of a poster.

In terms of festival shows, there are now many more added to the schedule, Crossfaith will also perform at Rock For The People in Czechia, kicking off the European tour that bears the title Mission To Europe Tour 2022, but also Delta Bash, Vainstream Rockfest, Full Force, all in Germany, Voa Heavy Rock Festival in Portugal, and Resurrection Fest in Spain, along with a number of club shows in Germany. The tour consists of 11 performances and starts on 17 June and will continue until 2 July.

Last autumn, the band celebrated their 15th anniversary by touring through Japan. They showed exactly what that was like in the form of a tour documentary. This will give you some insight of what to expect during the upcoming (festival) shows this summer.

Still from the music video "Gene" by Stone Flower Blooms. A moment in the music video where the camera focuses on one of the musicians with the addition of RGB glitch giving it a sort of psychedelic effect. The video is directed by Kouhei Nagamune.

A couple of the members of SIGH (in total there are three people in the photo), including founder Mirai Kawashima (dressed in black) and Dr. Mikannibal (dressed in traditional clothing but edited it in wearing it off the shoulders and with a bloody face), standing next to each other, two of the are holding swords while all are looking into the direction of the photographer. Behind them is a big tapestry or mural with the album cover of "Shiki".

Text of "Bandcamp Friday" and "Suggestions October 2023" on top of a radio, edited in a way that there was a glitch. The result is that there are more radio's in the image. With added filters it is made colourful with the added colours of red, blue and green and mixes of that.

RYUJIN © Napalm Records - Four band members of the band RYUJIN are dressed in traditional Japanese clothing, hakama, their look is inspired by samurai, especially with the addition of the swords, and one of them has an oni mask on. All members are facing forward and surrounded by old Japanese buildings. The dominant colours in this photo are dark; black and green-greyish. The sky is dark and cloudy, illumminated by flashes of lighting. The scene has an air of mystery about it, but is placed in Japan giving an extra touch to the traditional vibe.
