For those keeping an eye on the music reviews on AVO Magazine for a while, might recognise the name NightRetriever. The music project got started in 2017, where the guitarist Yuto Kosaka decided to bring out an EP, Symphony of the Nights, filled with electronic dance music, followed up with a single, titled Violet Magic.

On the 8th of November, Yuto will celebrate his birthday with a special live performance on his Instagram account, just like he did last year. For this solo live performance, which he has dubbed as Utopia Vol.3, he has decided to perform songs from his musical project NightRetriever. The show starts at 20.30 Japanese time, which means at 12.30 in the Netherlands and 11.30 in the morning in the United Kingdom, around lunchtime.

Going live on Instagram has been a good way for the musician to communicate with his fans all over the world, especially after he decided to join the visual alternative band ZIZ earlier this year, making it a five-piece with Közi on vocals and guitar, Taizo and Yuto as the guitarists, Sugiya as the bass player and Chargeeeeee… on drums.

In the meantime, Yuto has been also busy with supporting many other artists, such as RIS, TEOQLE and countless others, but also with another solo project of his, named after himself, Yuto Kosaka. Last year on the day of Tanabata (7th of July), he released his first single, Long Goodbye, with more focus on acoustics. Regularly he also uses his social platform to play some of the songs while being in his own studio or outside near the waterside.

What you can expect from his upcoming live performance on Instagram will be an up-and-close performance and maybe Yuto will share some new tracks as well while playing on his beloved Zemaitis guitar.
