ORION Live to present several musicians during HYPER JAPAN ONLINE

HYPER JAPAN will be soon starting with its one-month long event HYPER JAPAN ONLINE, on Friday 9th of July. As the name says, it will take place online and many activities have been announced. If you look around on the special website made for this event, you will be able to roam around the virtual booths that are set up for the events.

One of the themes that HYPER JAPAN ONLINE will present is Japanese music and many musicians have been announced to perform during this event, including a batch of musicians that are promoted by ORION Live, a UK-based tour organisation and the owner of the label SETSUZOKU RECORDS.

Masumi Ako

Singer-songwriter Masumi Ako is inspired by country, folk and many American artists like Jewel and Sheryl Crow. At age 22, she started her musical career and independently released three albums and many singles. She will be performing at HYPER JAPAN ONLINE on Friday 9th of July at 18.00 (British Standard Time, 19.00 CEST). It will be a free show that can be seen on the YouTube channel of HYPER JAPAN.

BRIDEAR

BRIDEAR will tour Europe later this year, but will share a taste-tester for those waiting for the band for their return. The metal band recently released their first global album Bloody Bride. During HYPER JAPAN ONLINE, they will do a Q&A where they answer questions for their fans. Drop your questions here. Keep an eye on the website or social media of HYPER JAPAN for when the Q&A will be shared.

DOUBLE AND

After the cancellation of DOUBLE AND’s European tour, earlier this year, it is good to know that Saki Chitose didn’t forget about the land she first visited for her performances. Soon she will be releasing a new EP and for HYPER JAPAN ONLINE she will be answering some questions during a Q&A session. Questions for this session can be asked here. Keep an eye on the website or social media of HYPER JAPAN for when the Q&A will be shared.

HEAVENSTAMP

Alternative band HEAVENSTAMP released an album earlier this year, titled From the basement, and during HYPER JAPAN ONLINE they will do a 30-minute showcase on Sunday 11th of July at 18.00 (British Standard Time, 19.00 CEST). The performance will be free to watch on the YouTube channel of HYPER JAPAN.

MIKUROMIKA

Singer-songwriter MIKUROMIKA loves to combine several music genres as house, vocal trance and Japanese pop in her music. The musician will join HYPER JAPAN ONLINE for a livestream on Wednesday 21st of July, just before the release of her debut album, titled MIKUROPOP. Keep an eye on the website or social media of HYPER JAPAN for more information.
