Horadekita! – Ice Cream Bars – Simple
Price: ± €4
Extra supplies: Scissors, Optional: Plate.
Summer’s not here yet, but don’t worry, these ‘ice cream bar’ candies won’t give you a brain freeze. This set from Coris contains everything you’ll need to make it, apart from a pair of scissors. With it, you’ll create some popsicles which you’ll be able to dip in some syrup and powder.
Flavour: ♥
Both kinds of ‘popsicle’ had a mint flavour to them. The pink one also had an artificial strawberry flavour to it as well. The flavour of the blue candy reminded me a bit of Ramune. They both had a chewy texture with some slightly harder bits mixed in as well.
The white powder tasted a bit like powdered sugar, but a little less sweet. And the syrup had a sweet flavour to it and a slightly sour flavour as well. The syrup and powder did fit together with the candies, but I wasn’t a big fan of the mint flavour in these candies.
Time needed: ⧗
This kit takes almost no time at all. Just stick the popsicles sticks in the candies, dip them in the syrup and powder.. and you’re done!
Difficulty level: ★
This is an easy candy kit, just follow the instructions and you should be able to complete it in no time.
Similarity: 📷
As you can see on the pictures below, the final product looks pretty different from the picture on the packaging. For starters, the shape of the candies is square, rather than rectangular and the syrup and powder don’t create the look you’d expect. Their consistencies are different than you’d expect, the syrup is pretty runny and the powder dissolves very quickly.

This kit can’t really be reused, but you could create something similar using Starbust candies, syrup and powdered sugar.
This is not a sponsored review and because of this I won’t mention where I bought this set, if you do an online search using the name of this kit you’ll be able to find this one in several webshops.
