London-based singer-songwriter Rina Sawayama is eager to tour the UK to promote her debut album, titled SAWAYAMA, released last April. Initially planned to start in May, she rescheduled the tour to September due to the current situation of COVID-19. Now the musician had the reschedule the tour once again, this time the tour, named The Dynasty Tour, is planned to take place next year, March 2021.
Sawayama stated in a series of tweets: “Globally the pandemic is totally unpredictable, with even the UK predicted to go back into the second lockdown again in the fall. It saddens me that I won’t see your faces until then, and it also saddens me greatly that some UK venues have been forced to close. In the meantime will be waiting patiently to see you when it’s very very safe!”
It is good to know that the original tickets for the upcoming tour in the United Kingdom will be honoured. The musician was also planning to tour the United States. Rescheduled tour dates for that tour will be announced soon.
