Instrumental rock band MONO shared a 20th-anniversary playlist on Spotify, titled Holy Night. The playlist consists of a collection of quiet and soothing songs by MONO and is in total 1 hour and 40 minutes long.
The description that the band had given to the playlist is as follows: “Our collection of peaceful music without distortion. Feel free to take a listen for your sleepless or important nights.”
The 17 songs are picked from several albums, such as their fifth studio album Hymn to the Immortal Wind and their tenth album Nowhere Now Here. With that album, released in 2019, the band celebrated their 20th anniversary.
After the rock veterans announced that they will tour Europe coming March and April, they also confirmed that they will be joining HellFest Open Air in France next year. The band was supposed to perform with Jo Quail Quartet last June at the metal festival, but the festival had to postpone their 15th-anniversary edition to 2021. Several Japanese bands were confirmed for Hellfest 2020. It was even presented as The Rising Sun Raises Hell by the organisation to raise high expectations. It seems that most of these bands are planning to come to the 2021 edition of Hellfest.
