HYPER JAPAN Festival 2020 gets postponed
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on RedditShare on Tumblr

In March, the organisation of HYPER JAPAN announced that they would postpone HYPER JAPAN Festival to a later date, the expectation was later in 2020. In the meantime, it has been decided that they will organise the Summer edition of HYPER JAPAN around the same time that it normally takes place, but in 2021. The postponed event is currently scheduled on the same weekend in 2021 at the same venue.

In a message the organisation thanked everyone for their patience and support: “In this time of uncertainty, we recognise everyone is facing unparalleled challenges. Naturally, we have been affected by the ongoing situation, however, in spite of this, we are doing our very best to bring HYPER JAPAN Festival back to London in July 2021.”

The confirmed musicians for the 2020 edition of HYPER JAPAN Festival, BANZAI JAPAN, nano and KOTO, shared video messages to let the people know that they are still planning to come to the event for a performance.

If you have tickets purchased for HYPER JAPAN 2020, then no further action is required according to the organisation, since the tickets will be still valid for the new dates. Although it is possible to get a refund. HYPER JAPAN will offer the ticket holders opportunities to get extras and benefits.

All changes of Japan-related events and events where Japanese musicians are planned to perform are compiled in a list that you can find here. This list will be regularly updated.
