A weekend full of Japanese music via live stream: NEO STANDARDS at Osaka BIGCAT and Live House Judgement in KOBE

While several venues in Kobe are preparing for another edition of Live House Judgement in KOBE, in another city not far away from it, Osaka, there will be two special days of performances of indie performers, presented by HEADLINE under the title NEO STANDARDS at Osaka BIGCAT on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th of June. This means a good start of a weekend full of Japanese live music while enjoying your late breakfast or lunch.

The performances of young indie performers from the Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto region can be viewed on the YouTube channel of HEADLINE and are free to watch. So, if you have nothing planned this weekend, it’s an idea to start your day with these events.

On Friday 19 June, the stream will start at 19:00 Japanese time (12.00 Amsterdam time).

On Saturday 20 June, the stream will start at 18:00 Japanese time (11.00 Amsterdam time).

If you haven’t enough after two days of free Japanese live music, you might be interested to check out the Live House Judgement in KOBE event on Sunday 21st of June. Live House Judgement in KOBE is a no audience live house circuit event between four live venues in Kobe: Chicken Goerge, Varit. Kobe, music zoo and ARTHOUSE. This recurring event was created because the venues had to close due to the situation around COVID-19. The first edition of Livehouse Judgment in Kobe took place in April. The June edition will take place on Sunday 21st of June and bands as D-OUT, THE TOMBOYS, the cibo, ofulover, KNOCK OUT MONKEY, The Songbards and King Brothers will perform on that day (among many others). This event is not free to watch, but tickets for all four venues are currently ¥2000 (around € 17.00).
