In addition to uploading their whole discography on Youtube for a certain period, Acid Mothers Temple discovered that they have never made any official promotion video in the twenty years they have been actively making music and releasing hundreds of recordings. Time to change this.
The collective added: “But a quick check on Youtube reveals that loads of creators have made their own video works with our music or have uploaded their own video footage of our concerts.” For Acid Mothers Temple this was a good reason to reach out to the visual and video artists to create work for them.
Under the umbrella, Acid Mothers Temple meets VISUALISTA they are asking to those creative persons if they are willing to post their work on the official YouTube channel of Acid Mothers Temple. It seems that whenever you decide to send your work in, the copyright will be shared and that it is possible to release your work on your own YouTube channel and website. Acid Mothers Temple added: “However, we would be grateful if you could get in touch with us if you are planning to release the work on DVD or Blu-ray. Likewise, if we would like to use your videos on any official Acid Mothers Temple DVD or Blu-ray releases, we will get in touch with you.”
Acid Mothers Temple added a few pointers where the visual and video artists can take into account:
- CG, animation, film, or live footage that you have filmed yourself, the group is interested in all genres and types of films that make use of the music of Acid Mothers Temple.
- Likewise, if you want to edit or remix the music, please feel free.
- Length is entirely up to you: 1 minute or 10 hours, your choice.
