The organisation of the Swiss event Aki no Matsuri began 2020 with a big bang, as they announced the musical main act for the 2020-edition that will take place in December: Visual Kei band Scarlet Valse. The Symphonic Power Metal band, connected to the label Starwave Records, will perform outside Japan for the first time.
Scarlet Valse (スカーレットバルス) formed in 2011, shortly after the short project Railtracer ended. In 2014, they joined Starwave Records. Their latest release was the sixth single, titled Heaven, in November, and followed up the release of their second album Metamorphosis that got released earlier in 2019. The single brought a new angelic concept where the Visual Kei band presents their growth as a band. Scarlet Valse consists of vocalist Kakeru, guitarists You and Rin, bassist Shian and drummer Yo-hey.
Aki no Matsuri is a Japan-related family festival for those who are interested in anime, manga, gaming an all things that are related to Japan. The 2020-edition will take place on 5 and 6 December at Mehrzweckanlage Teuchelweiher in Winterthur, Switzerland. Scarlet Valse will perform on 5 December at this event.
