That singer-songwriter MIKARU loves Europe, is maybe not a surprise anymore with at least 6 European tours on his name. With his band and multidisciplinary art project G.L.A.M.S, he has been in Europe many times, solo and with a band, and in February he will be back for another tour to promote his newest release Twilight After The Rain.
For this European tour, he will bring his well-known crew, guitarist Yudai, bassist Tetsuto, and drummer/DJ Syu. MIKARU (G.L.A.M.S) is a singer-songwriter from Tokyo, Japan, well-known for having been the leader and vocalist of the bands DIO –Distraught Overlord– and BLACK LINE. He started his multidisciplinary art project, G.L.A.M.S, at the end of 2013. He’s now active as a musician (solo & band), painter, and jeweller.
Looking forward to his newest album, Twilight After The Rain, Mikaru got inspired by his recent feelings and ranging from despair and grief to hope for the future and true freedom as well as love and lust, each song of the new album has its own story. “The world, places, and characters are all different”, says Mikaru and adds mysteriously: “But interestingly, none of them are me.” The release of this mini-album is set on Valentine’s Day and consists of 5 songs.
