Electronic musician TENTENKO will go on a short tour through Germany later this month, just before the end of the year 2019. The tour will start on 13 December at Alien Disko Festival #4, where Japanese sound artist ASUNA (with Jan Jelinek) and Japanese DJ TENNISCOATS also will perform, among many other worldwide musicians. In total TENTENKO will have five shows in Germany.
TENTENKO just released a split album with KOPY, uniting two female underground acts from Japan, through German record label TAL.
TENTENKO is a Tokyo-based electronic music producer. Her career began in 2013 when she joined the mainstream idol group BiS. Immediately after her departure from BiS in 2014, she commenced work on her solo project under her artist name TENTENKO. Since then she has radically reinvented her music away from glossy Japanese Pop towards the weird and industrial rooted dancefloor. TENTENKO first made a name for herself on the alternative Japanese music scene with a steady flow of live performances as well as collaborations with members of the legendary Japanese noise band HIJOKAIDAN.
