With more than 200 days to go, the organisation of HYPER JAPAN is busy with filling the programme for the Summer event. The first musicians that will perform at HYPER JAPAN Festival 2020, taking place on 10, 11 and 12 July at Olympia London, are announced. Tickets for the event are currently available through Eventbrite.
The first musician announced is nano (ナノ), a singer born in the United States and grew up in Japan. nano sings in Japanese and English to give them a western vibe whilst still appealing to a Japanese audience. They became well known in 2010 by sharing covers of anime and Avril Lavigne songs on YouTube and niconico, which caused them to quickly garner attention from viewers all around the world. Nano has performed around the world, from Japan to Germany, from Taiwan to the United States and now will come for the first time to the United Kingdom.
The second musician that was announced for HYPER JAPAN is 2& (DOUBLE AND), who has performed before in the United Kingdom by touring with NECRONOMIDOL and Screaming 60s in 2018 and earlier this year headlining the Indie, Idol and Infamous tour. 2& is Chitose Saki, an idol from Tokyo who is formerly of the alt idol sensation Guso Drop. Now active solo and a self-produced artist and can be best expressed by the equation Saki + You = 2&. The performances of 2& are known as dynamic and unique, which caused for the musician to gain fans and popularity. It seems that this performance will not be the only show for 2&.
