After the announcement of the performance at Greenfield Festival, in June 2020, it was the question if BABYMETAL will only perform there or if they are planning for a Summer Festival Tour for 2020. The answer seems to be yes for the latter, as Graspop Metal Meeting announced today 74 brand new names for their upcoming edition. BABYMETAL was one of the confirmed acts on that list today.
Other acts that have been confirmed are Korn, Deep Purple, Disturbed, The Offspring and Alter Bridge, among many others. The Belgian metal festival will take place from 18 until 21 June in Dessel. In 2020, it will be the 25th anniversary of Graspop Metal Meeting and the organisation decided to make an extra long edition of four days. Tickets for Graspop 2020 will go on sale on Friday 15 November at 10.00.
Before BABYMETAL will perform at European festivals in the Summer, they will embark on a European tour to promote their newest album METAL GALAXY. The tour will take place in February. For the fans who are waiting for more dates in the Summer, it will be a question on which European festivals BABYMETAL might perform as well. Other festivals taking place around the same time of Greenfield Festival and Graspop Metal Meeting are Pinkpop, Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park.
