MANISDRON, the solo project of Takafumi Okada (GOAT), is currently touring Europe and performed already in France and Switzerland. Other shows will take place in The Netherlands (Rotterdam and Amsterdam), Germany and Denmark.
Taken from the website of OCCII, MANISDRON can be described as “a blast of rhythms, electronics and charged vocals.” Okada uses voice, drums, synthesizers and composed electronic layers to create a solid hypnotic groove.
Takafumi Okada shared a flyer with dates of his other band GOAT as well, although these performances took place last week.
Let’s highlight the Dutch shows as AVO Magazine is based in The Netherlands:
MANISDRON will perform on Saturday 19 October at festival Left of the Dial in Rotterdam. During this festival you can enjoy different kinds of alternative music, at least 54 bands will perform at 6 locations, like Rotown, V11, Club Vibes, V2_, NSR Upstairs/Downstairs and WORM. The performance of MANISDRON will be at WORM from 23.20.
The show at OCCII in Amsterdam will take place on Sunday 20 October, where Takafumi Okada will perform for the third time at this venue. Before he played as the drummer of GOAT and for his own band The Noup. The doors will open at 20.00 and to get in you have to pay € 7,00 plus a donation of just € 1,00 for the fundraising of the venue. During the evening you can also enjoy the music of Optical Machines, DJ Misses BGM and more.
