These gummy candies by Kabaya resemble Kakigori, a popular Japanese treat which is made by pouring flavoured syrup on crushed ice. The package contains three flavours: Lemon, Strawberry and Soda. All of the flavours have a white base, intended to look like the crushed ice. The bag is resealable so it’s easy to take these candies with you.

The gummies on the packaging represent the ones in the packaging well, they look very similar. The blue and yellow gummies have some coarse sugar on top, while the pink one is smooth on top. The pink one does look a little more orange or red rather than pink.
When it comes to flavour and texture I preferred the lemon one over the others, but the others were definitely nice as well. The coarse sugar on the lemon and soda gummies gave them a nice crunchy texture, while the strawberry one was a bit softer to chew.
The lemon gummies tasted as you’d expect, there was a clear lemon flavour present. The soda ones did taste like soda but the flavour wasn’t very strong. The strawberry flavour was the least clear, it could’ve been some other red fruit as well, it wasn’t very distinct. The strawberry ones seemed to have a bit of a mint aftertaste.
I thought these tasted nice and looked cute as well. The resemblance to the crushed ice was clear.
