Indie pop trio Lucie,Too will travel in June to Korea to perform at DMZ TRAIN MUSIC FESTIVAL 2019. It is the first time that the Japanese girl group will perform in Korea. This festival will be happening along Korea’s Demilitarized Zone, abbreviated it is DMZ.

The DMZ Peace Train Music Festival is organised with the intention to provide an opportunity to experience freedom and peace (between South and North Korea); and to transcend nations, politics, economy, ideology, and race through music in Korea. In 2018, the festival took place for the first time. This year the festival will take place at Platform Changdong 61 in Seoul and Cheorwon in the Gangwon Province near the entrance of Korea’s Demilitarized Zone. The festival will start on 5 June in Seoul, from 7 June it will start in Cheorwon. Lucie, Too will perform in Cheorwon, according to the flyer they shared on Twitter.

Lucie,Too will not be the only Japanese band to perform at this festival. Creative unit Little Big Bee is also announced for this festival. The unit consists of DJ Eitetsu Takamiya, Fujisaki on keyboards and Kenji Jinguuji on bass guitar. Eitetsu Takamiya is very known for his remixing and producing work for several artists inside and outside Japan. He started in 1995 the independent label Flower Records.

More bands will be announced soon, keep an eye on the official website, Twitter and Facebook of the festival. General ticket sale will start from 20 March and a second round on 10 April.

In the meantime, the trio has been announcing several shows in Japan. For updates, you can keep an eye on the Twitter account of Lucie, Too. Although they have been looking outside the country as well, the trio was invited to perform at Warm Up Festival in Taiwan, that took place in January. It was their first performance in Taiwan. Lucie,Too released their live-limited EP exlover, presented in November 2018 at their live show at Shin-daita FEVER. One of the songs, EGOIST, got a music video.
