20 Guilders

The Tokyo-based Acid Rock/Folk duo 20 Guilders will tour Europe for the first time in the late Spring. The tour is titled IL Grande SILENZIO and that is also the title of their live recording that they released in March 2018.

Thursday 16 May: Le Zorba – Paris, France
Saturday 18 May: Dada – Toulouse, France
Sunday 19 May: Data – Marseille, France (Folk set)
Monday 20 May: La Salle Geule – Marseille, France (Noise-Ambient set)
Wednesday 22 May: L’imposture – Lille, France
Thursday 23 May: Barlok – Brussels, Belgium
Friday 24 May: Raw Power Festival at Shacklewell Arms – London, United Kingdom
Saturday 25 May: The Cube – Bristol, United Kingdom
Sunday 26 May: The Moon – Cardiff, United Kingdom
Tuesday 28 May: Hare and Hounds – Birmingham, United Kingdom
Thursday 30 May: The Chunk – Leeds, United Kingdom
Friday 31 May: Toph – Newcastle, United Kingdom
Saturday 1 June: Nice’N’Sleazy – Glasgow, United Kingdom

There will be a few dates added to the tour. You can keep an eye on the Facebook event that has been specially made for this tour.

The duo consists of Suzuki Junzo and Tabata Mitsuru (ex-guitarist of Zeni Geva and Acid Mothers Temple and founder member of Boredoms). The two started 20 Guilders in 2006 and released a year later a self-titled EP with the live recordings of the two performances they did in 2007. Before the European tour, the duo will tour in Japan with Australian bands Fraudband and Paul Kidney.
