This is not a sponsored review and because of this I won’t mention where I bought this set, if you do an online search using the name of this kit you’ll be able to find this one in several webshops.

Heart – Beach Sand Candy – Simple
Price: ± €3 for one package
Extra supplies: Water, Bowl or Cup, Plate

With these this kit you can create candy ‘sand’ and use the moulds included to shape this ‘sand’. The moulds you get are random and not indicated on the packaging, so it’d be harder to collect all of the available moulds if you wanted to. Each package includes two moulds, a shovel and two powders, pink and blue. The moulds included in my kit were a castle and a fish.

Flavour: ♥♥
The texture of the ‘sand’ is a little like sour candy powder, which it reminds me of a lot, even when it comes to flavour. The blue powder is sour and has a ramune flavour, which tastes like bubble gum. The pink powder is sweet, and a little sour, and has a bit of an artificial raspberry flavour.

Time needed: ⧗
This kit doesn’t take a lot of time, or at least it doesn’t have to. All you need to do is add water and mix to create the ‘sand’, which you then put in one of the moulds, but in theory you can stay busy as long as you want by reusing the ‘sand’.

Difficulty level: ★
Since this kit has very few and very easy steps to follow it’s not difficult at all. Make sure to press in the ‘sand’ well so it keeps its shape once you unmould it.

Similarity: ???
As you can see on the pictures below, the final product looks only slightly different from the packaging, mainly because its texture looks a lot more sand-like than on the packaging.

Want to enjoy this kit again?

Clean the mould with warm water, after using it, and let it air dry.

If you want to reuse the moulds you could use them to shape fondant, candies or you can try to make your own candy sand and use that. You could also use it for actual, non-edible, sand shapes.
