Pop girl group Perfume is added to the line-up of Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2019 in the United States. They will perform on Sunday 14 and 21 April, alongside Ariana Grande, who is the headliner. Other headliners of Coachella are Childish Gambino and Tame Impala. Perfume’s performance at Coachella is a big performance, the festival takes place over two weekends. It is not the first performance in the United States for the pop trio, they have performed at SXSW and a few one-man shows.
For the lovers of Korean pop music, the line-up is also interesting as the girl band BLACKPINK has been added to the line-up as well, as first Korean pop girl band. They will perform on Friday 12 and 19 April.
Just last year Perfume released their sixth studio album Future Pop. The trio, consisting of Ayano Omoto (NOCCHi), Yuka Kashino (Kashiyuka) and Ayaka Nishiwaki (a-chan), is almost 20 years active.
