2019 did start good for Alternative Hard Rock band LOKA. During the performance at the Countdown To 2019 live show at Shibuya The Game, the band announced that they will release a new album through Universal Music Group. Not much more information has been announced about the upcoming major release, but the band asks the fans to keep an eye on them. The band did also announce that their support drummer KEN will be officially the new drummer, making the band complete again after the departure of drummer KEN’ICHI in November. But that was not all the news from LOKA!
Meanwhile, LOKA announced a new tour, titled TRAP’N ROCK TOUR 2019, which also includes a tour through Europe in May and June. No other details have been announced, but it is expected that the band will share some more news soon.
In 2018, the rock band celebrated its 6th anniversary and released the album ALTERED AUDIO with re-recorded versions of songs as SLICK, FROM YESTERDAY, EDEN, GOD’S GONE TO VEGAS and TSUBASA TRIGGER. The decision to make this album was made after welcoming a new guitarist, named RIU, into the band. The last time that LOKA toured Europe was in 2017. Part of that tour was with the band Crazy Town through the United Kingdom and Ireland.
