Indie, Idol and Infamous Tour brings three solo Japanese idols to the United Kingdom

ORIONlive are busy to make 2019 a memorable year for the organisation and the fans of Japanese music, by organising Metal Matsuri in October, but also the Indie, Idol and Infamous tour with the return of 2& (Double And). She will bring two acts with her, 十四代目トイレの花子さん (14th Generation Toilet Hanako-san) and Garuda, that will enjoy their United Kingdom debut. The Indie, Idol and Infamous tour will take place in April, with shows in London, Manchester and Birmingham. Ticket sale will start on Friday 18 January at 10.00 AM (UK time).

14th Generation Toilet Hanako-san performed in the United States during the East Meets West Music Fest in the Summer of 2018. Hanako-san is inspired by the Japanese urban legend about the spirit of a young girl who haunts school bathrooms. In the case of 14th Generation Toilet Hanako-san, she is also a solo idol. She is recognisable by red-and-white schoolgirl outfit that is smeared with blood, eyepatch, and her backpack (randoseru). Hanako-san’s music is described as ‘hardcore’ and certainly heavy metal. Fans of this solo idol know what the expect from a live show that includes pouring and spitting food.

Garuda consists of Yuffie and promotes herself as Japan’s first industrial idol. Her dark, gothic industrial metal style has established Garuda as one of Japan’s most unique and exciting solo-idol performers. The audience can expect the same power and theatrics as she brings to the Japanese live house stage as she is guaranteed to put on a show.

Solo act Double And (2&) is formerly of the alt-idol sensation Guso Drop, the solo idol can best be expressed by the equation Saki + You = 2&. A self-produced artist, Saki’s wish is to grow into a performer who can be constantly giving back to her fans.

The tour dates are as follows:

Saturday 20 April: The Water Rats – London, United Kingdom
Monday 22 April: Night and Day Cafe – Manchester, United Kingdom
Tuesday 23 April: The Sunflower Lounge – Birmingham, United Kingdom

The tickets include standard and VIP combo tickets and can be bought via Eventbrite.com. The VIP Combo ticket includes access to the show plus a tour poster, tote bag, meet and greet with the artist, poster singing, early access to the venue plus to be the first drafted for Hanako-san clean-up detail.

ORIONlive organised last year the successful Black Winds Over Albion tour with NECRONOMIDOL, Screaming Sixties and 2&.
