For the first time, the rock band sokoninaru (そこに鳴る) from Osaka will go on tour through Europe. The tour, organised by Riot Rock Booking, is planned for February 2019. sokoninaru will perform 14 times in 6 countries, such as The Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Austria, and Switzerland with a few performances at expos and conventions.
sokoninaru is a band with a progressive heavy-rock sound that started in the Summer of 2011. The band is known for mixing male and female vocals on a precisely constructed ensemble with transcendental technical heavy sounds. The band consists of guitarist and vocalist Juko Suzuki and bassist and vocalist Misaki Fujiwari, with a support drummer.
In 2015, the rock band released their debut EP, titled I’m NOT a pirolian, making a deep impact on the Japanese rock scene, directly touring in Japan and outside Japan in Taipei. A year later, sokoninaru released the EP YAMINABE and toured through 10 cities in Japan. In 2017, the band decided to mix their sound with a more metal sound and released the EP METALIN. The EP got selected as Best Newcomer by Tower Records. Their latest release is ZERO that got released earlier this year. The EP brought the band’s sound back to their roots. The lead track, 掌で踊る (TE NO HIRA DE ODURU, Dance with the Palm) became a hot topic in the Japanese rock scene and the music video got over a million streams on YouTube. In September sokoninaru released a live venue limited single, titled re:program.
Because of the upcoming European tour, the band launched an English version of their official website.
