Miho Hatori's solo project New Optimism

From the last day of October will singer-songwriter Miho Hatori (羽鳥 美保) tour Europe to promote her solo project New Optimism. 

Miho Hatori is known as the co-founder poly pop duo Cibo Matto and collaborative partner of influential acts as Gorillaz and The Beastie Boys. In 2007, she wrote and produced the soundtrack to the Japanese film Shindo. She is born in Tokyo, but is nowadays based in New York City. With her new project New Optimism, she merges experimental pop, hip-hop and dance music. In July she released her EP, Amazon To LeFrak, the result is a concentration of avant-garde pop music dipped into Latin sounds.

Sunday 2 December: Jubez – Karlsruhe, Germany
Tuesday 4 December: Hafenklang – Hamburg, Germany
Wednesday 5 December: y Lokal – Frankfurt, Germany
Monday 10 December: The Shacklewell Arms – London, United Kingdom
Wednesday 12 December: Green Door Store – Brighton, United Kingdom
Friday 14 December: Night & Day – Manchester, United Kingdom
