The theme of Abunai! this year was focused on gaming, in particular, the kitsune (fox), which is also the main mascot of Abunai!. In Japan, a kitsune is seen as a very intelligent creature with paranormal abilities and has appeared in folklore for centuries already, but still makes an appearance in modern media like manga, anime and video games. That’s why the name of the convention was transformed into “Abunai! 2018: Tales of Kitsunia” this year.

During the convention, there was a lot to see and do already, but the main musical guest was none other than HITT. With almost 15 years under his belt as a solo artist, he brought a dynamic show to the visitors of Abunai! in order to entertain them.

Nearly 15 years since his start as a solo musician HITT has been to Europe various times, but in the meantime, he has been all over the world with his shows. When HITT is on the stage you can’t help but watch due to his energy and his enthusiasm. He really enjoys performing and making music, and it gives his show a unique boost. During his one hour performance, HITT treated the audience to his cheerful, catchy songs as well as his singing and piano talent. And of course, a little bit of spicy attitude, as it’s very important to make sure your hair is always perfect. No matter who you are, where you are or what you are doing. Always look your best, seems to be one of the many things HTTT wanted to communicate to his audience that afternoon.

While he drew a small group of fans before the show started already, his energetic performance drew in more and more people who heard him play from outside of the main stage room and came to have a look, only to stick around for the remaining songs of the show. After the show attendants got the opportunity to take a picture with the solo musician for a permanent memory of his performance at Abunai! 2018.

Before the show, AVO had the opportunity to sit down with HITT for an interview, in which he was asked about gaming and his career as a musician. You can read the interview here.

Did you miss the show or do you want to watch it again? Thanks to our partner Miyako Studio you can see all of it on in the video down below.
