SPYAIR announce World Tour 2018

Rock quartet SPYAIR are going on a world tour and will bring their J-rock buddies ROOKiEZ is PUNK’D with them. The tour will start in September in the United States, Mexico, Chile and Brazil. The European leg will happen in October with shows in Poland, Germany, United Kingdom and Paris.

25 September: DIAMOND BALLROOM – Oklahoma, USA
27 September: GRAMERCY THEATRE – New York, USA
1 October: THE REGENCY BALLROOM – San Francisco, USA
3 October: WHITE OAK MUSIC HALL – Boston, USA
5 October: CANTON HALL – Dallas, USA
7 October: SALA PUEBLA – Mexico City, Mexico
12 October: TEATRO TELETON – Santiago, Chile
14 October: Via Matarazzoo – São Paulo, Brazil
17 October: Klub Kwadrat – Warsaw, Poland
19 October: Colos-Saal – Frankfurt, Germany
21 October: Underworld – London, UK
24 October: Casino de Paris – Paris, France

Further dates are expected to be announced. SPYAIR will also continue the tour (without ROOKiEZ is PUNK’D) in Asia in November.

SPYAIR released their fifth album KINGDOM last year, including lead single RAGE OF DUST, which was used as an opening theme of the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. The newest release is the single I Wanna Be…, which is used as opening theme for the anime series Gintama.

The band ROOKiEZ is PUNK’D planned their own World Tour, starting with SPYAIR and ending up with a one-man tour in Asia. The band just announced their second album that will be released in September through Universal Music: The Sun Also Rises.

ROOKiEZ is PUNK’D is mainly active in Shibuya, but keeps expanding their live performances by touring nationwide and, since the announcement of the world tour, also worldwide. The name of the band has been growing internationally, they have been in the United States, but also has been releasing music for anime series, such as Durarara!!, BLEACH, Blue Exorcist and Yowamushi Pedal. The band also does crossovers freely in between music, fashion and extreme sports. Singer and guitarist SHiNNOSUKE has been a fashion model for street brands Subciety and GoneR. The band furthermore consists of bassist RYOTA and drummer Cho.
