LOVEBITES to HYPER JAPAN Christmas 2017

LOVEBITES

The all-female metal band LOVEBITES come to the United Kingdom for a few performances, including the Christmas edition of HYPER JAPAN. It is the first time for the band to perform outside Japan. LOVEBITES is seen as one of the most promising rising stars of Japan’s female metal scene.

During a href=”https://hyperjapan.co.uk/latest-news/christmas/lovebites/” rel=”noopener” target=”_blank”>HYPER JAPAN the band will perform on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th of November. On Monday November 27th the band will perform with FEMM as co-headliner at The Underworld Camden.

LOVEBITES consists of five women that gre up with listening to heavy metal bands like Iron Maiden, Anthrax and Sodom, that have directly influenced their writing. LOVEBITES started working on their first EP at the end of 2016, joined by the amazing engineering team of Mikko Karmila and Mika Jussila from Finland who are known for their work with Nightwish, Children Of Bodom and Amorphis to name a few. The LOVEBITES EP was the culmination of those sessions, released in mid-2017. In August the band released first full album, Awakening From Abyss, out now from JPU Records. The band consist of lead singer Asami, band leader and bassist Miho (ex-DESTROSE), guitarists Mi-Ya (ex-a Drop Of Joker, 21g) and Midori (ex-Gekijo★METALicche), and drummer Haruna (ex-DESTROSE).

The band made a comment video for those who are interested.
