It has been announced that We Are X will get a European theatrical premiere in October. The premieres will take place in Berlin, Florence, Vienna, Amsterdam, Oslo, Helsinki, Stockholm, London, Reykjavik and Paris. There will be more cities announced.
In the documentary, made by Stephen Kijak, you will be confronted with the history of the band, archive material and candid interviews that will give you a closer look at the whimsical history of X JAPAN. In the late 1980s, they paved the way for the visual kei subculture of flamboyantly dressed, androgynous musicians with lots of makeup and colourful hair.
