In celebration of their 25th anniversary, Boris will do a European tour and release a new album! The dates have been announced by Sargent House Europe.
The tour will start in August and consists of 19 dates, including a live in both Belgium and the Netherlands. On Sunday August 13th the band will perform on Ieperfest in Ieper. Tickets for the Sunday show will cost €52.00. On Friday, August 18th you will find the band playing in P60. Tickets will be €14.00 in the presales and €16.00 at the door. The venue will open around 20:00 and the show will start at 20:30.
On July 14th Boris will release their new album DEAR. In a press release they talked a little about it: “In the beginning, we intended fort his album to be a goodbye letter to Boris. However, in the end it turned out to be a letter to our fans and listeners. Something like “Dear -, this is our new album. We are thankful we are able to release this album for our 25-year anniversary.”
From the new album, we already know ‘Absolutego’ from an official video by the same name back in 1996 on their debut album.
Past December the band was performing on Incubate Festival where they played their full album Pink.
