Traditionally the Japanese have many celebrations connected to nature. The changing of the seasons leads to beautiful poems to be written and art to be created. With this in mind, IBASHO Gallery will celebrate the approaching Winter with the exhibition 初雪 (Hatsuyuki), a group exhibition honouring the first snow. Through the works of 17 Japanese photographers and 5 Western photographers, the beauty of a white, wintery world will be shown.
The exhibition will be opened on Saturday 7 December. It is possible to see the photography works till Thursday 12 January 2020.

IBASHO is a gallery in Antwerp showing fine art Japanese photography as well as works from Western photographers who were inspired by Japan. The gallery is opened from Thursday until Sunday from 14.00 till 18.00 and by appointment.
