De Lorians will start their first European tour in less than two weeks. The quintet presented the last updated schedule of the tour that will start on 13 November in Italy. Also Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and France will get the chance to get acquainted with this band who bill themselves as “a bunch of long-haired Japanese twenty-somethings playing Zappa-loving Canterbury-inspired blissed-out spiritual jazz rippers.”

In total, De Lorians will perform 21 shows. During the European tour, the band will promote their self-titled debut album, also their first album, released earlier this year, which has already sold out on black vinyl and created quite a stir in the music press. It is possible to check the music out on Bandcamp. The young musicians are active in Tokyo, grown up in the always-heady Tokyo music scene, started the band in 2016. The band is led by Takefumi Ishida, playing sax and synth, all five band members contribute material to what they call pataphysical music: a combination of psychedelic rock and jazz with a focus on instruments and no singing.

The tour dates are as follows:

Wednesday 13 November: Titty Twister – Firenze, Italy
Thursday 14 November: Fanfulla – Rome, Italy
Friday 15 November: Il Clan Destino – Faenza, Italy
Saturday 16 November: Magazzino Sul Po – Torino, Italy
